i’m dreaming of the day Rose Hill Drive will present a Black Sabbath album – it was cool to hear Jeff Tweady of Wilco comment on their performance of Black Sabbath material at Wakarusa years back – he was impressed!!! anyway the 08 show will be stellar i’m sure – the band has grown so much over the years – Morgan
Hey, and nothing against Jake’s bass chops because he rocks, but definitely keep Jimmy up there from now on–he’s great. It frees Jake up to play other instruments and really focus on his voice, which just gets better and better, and the sound is soooo phat with the four of you!
I think the Zep 1 (2005) and Hendrix Band of Gypsys (2006) shows also have taper versions there, not sure about the 2007 Aerosmith show. They did make an “Instant CD” sound board pressing at the Zep I show, which you could actually buy right after the show ended, but I don’t think it’s available anywhere.
Who is the person that did the sweet Poster for the New Years shows? I would like to see more of their stuff….as a poster collector I think this is the Best RHD poster since the Toys in the Attic show….and BTW the show was awesome on New Years. I liked how you did originals first then the Zep II album.
So someone please talk me back from the edge here: Rose Hill Drive *is* going to play their traditional New Year’s Eve album tribute show, right? Right?
Some of us in Boulder spend the whole year counting down the days to this event. To skip it is unthinkable. Not even thinking about it…no…positive thoughts, positive…I’m in my happy place, calm blue ocean…
Can someone from RHD please give us a hint, so I can either climb down safely from this lip on the 2nd Flatiron, or go ahead and meet my maker? Please?
I talked with Nate earlier this summer about the New Years 2009-2010 show. He asked me if I had album choices then, and I did not, but I had a classic rock morning this morning and my iPod and I agree that Van Halen’s Fair Warning should be given good consideration. Make it so!

Omigod it’s tonight! Omigod!!
Zeppelin II. Rose Hill Drive!!!!!!!!
You guys totally killed on New Year’s Eve! Fantastic show!!
I was blown away by the original tunes–8th Wonder was really groovy this time–and then Zep II was a masterful tribute.
Rose Hill Drive rules.

Just my two cents. Happy New Year everyone!
Are there any CDs available to purchase of any of Rose Hill Drive’s live cover tributes, including Led Zeppelin II?
If so, where can I purchase them?
Thanks.
There is a decent taper recording of the January 31st 2008 Zeppelin II show at http://www.archive.org/details/rhd2008-12-31.akg483.flac16

L Train:
The artist’s name is Arik Roper, http://www.arikroper.com. He is excellent, I agree.
You can buy a print of that poster for only $8.50 at http://rosehilldrivestore.com/rhdnye2008poster.aspx too.

Looks like it’s not happening this year: Leftover Salmon has the Boulder Theater on Dec. 30 and 31.
Here’s hoping we hear *something* new from Dr. Barnes and the Sproul brothers soon…
